There’s just something to be said about getting up before the sun rises, getting outside in the fresh air, and WALKING. I mean, am I right? I’ve been looking for new ways to get some exercise and to clear my head. I am so fortunate to live in a state where it’s STILL 75 degrees and sunny outside. And It’ll be December tomorrow. Lots of people are still upset that it’s not frigid outside, but you won’t hear me complaining!
I ONLY wish it to be frigid ON Christmas day. 80 degrees on Christmas is just wrong, people.
So I’m up again this morning and heading out to go hiking with a good friend of mine! The sun isn’t even up yet, but by the time I get to where I’m going, it will be. And for an hour, I get to just be OUTSIDE and ENJOY it.
Plus, I started hiking because after starting crossfit I threw out my ribs and they’re still giving me troubles. For those of you who don’t know, I have some pretty bad back problems that I’ve been seeing an AMAZING chiropractor for since July. She has helped me immensely. I thought my ribs were strong enough to withstand something as intense as crossfit, but I was terribly wrong. SO I’m hiking and doing pilates to strengthen my back so THEN I can do crossfit. Because I really want to do it.
